How do you monitor my alarm system for so much less?
We are a small business, have low overhead and we don't spend zillions on advertising. Our goal is to make a reasonable profit and provide outstanding customer service to grow our customer base by word of mouth!
Do you install security or fire alarm systems?
No, we only provide monitoring services at this time. We recommend calling a local, independent alarm company to install a new system and then require that they setup MyAlarmMonitoring.com as your monitoring company!
Does MyAlarmMonitoring.com provide alarm monitoring service at my location?
Yes! We provide residential and commercial alarm monitoring services throughout the United States and Canada.
Can you monitor the security or fire alarm system at my business?
Yes! We provide security and fire alarm system monitoring for businesses, apartments, housing units, dorms and other commercial facilities at the same low price of $12.95 per month per alarm panel. We also offer volume discounts, please contact us to inquire.

Can I receive a discount on my Home Owners Insurance?
Yes! We will provide your with a Certificate to provide your insurance company upon completion of your order.
Can I try your monitoring services at no risk?
Yes! If you're not 100% satisfied with our monitoring services you may cancel service within the first 30 days and receive a full refund of the monitoring and setup fees. How long does it take to switch to MyAlarmMonitoring.com?
In most cases, once we receive your order, you are contacted within 24 hours to schedule the alarm switch over.
When should I cancel my existing alarm monitoring service?
Just to be safe, we suggest waiting until your service has been switched into our monitoring center.
What if the existing contract for service is not over?
We do not endorse the breaking of any existing agreements. However, if you are not receiving the level of service contracted for, you may have grounds for cancellation.
Does MyAlarmMonitoring.com charge me for false alarms?
Absolutely not. You're paying for a service and we will provide it regardless of how many times your alarm goes off.
Is there a connection or set-up fee?
A one time account setup fee is charged regardless of the type of switch over is required. For more specific pricing information, please review our order form.
Is there a permit or license required for monitoring?
Each county or city has different requirements. We suggest contacting your local police department to verify if one is necessary.
Are there additional fees for auto testing or opening and closings?
Our standard rates do not include this type of service. If your account does send any of these, simply have them removed otherwise a separate fee may be charged once it is determined they are being sent.

How do you switch my existing alarm panel to your center?
We offer both an Alarm Manger device that simply redirects the telephone number your existing alarm panel dials, or your alarm can be reprogrammed over the telephone with one of our qualified representatives.
What if the alarm was never monitored before?
No problem! We're happy to assist you with programming your system over the telephone.
What systems can MyAlarmMonitoring.com monitor?
We can monitor virtually ANY security or fire alarm system presently being monitored by ANY OTHER monitoring center. This includes ADT, Brinks, Protection One and many others.
What signals can you monitor from my alarm panel?
If you have existing services, we will transfer all the type of signals your alarm presently sends. If the panel is new, or has never been monitored before, we can adjust the settings to send as many alarm types as you choose.

Do you offer VoIP Alarm Monitoring?

What VoIP services do you support?
We support nearly all major VoIP providers including Vonage, MagicJack, and Ooma.
What are the risks of alarm monitoring using VoIP?
Voice over IP is telephone service through your broadband internet connection and is therefore less reliable than a regular telephone line because it is dependent on power and internet availability whereas a normal phone line is not. We recommend using a traditional POTS line for your alarm system.
Do you charge extra for VoIP monitoring?
No, there are no additional fees for monitoring via a VoIP connection.
